Genre funk, disco
Membres Ali Morgan, Charley Hikuroa, Colin Henry, Harry Morgan (2), Mike Booth, Philip Whitcher
A funky Wellington band that played with Dalvanius and the Fascinations in the late 1970s and recorded an album in Sydney, Collision’s self-titled 1978 album has become an internationally sought after rare groove classic.

The core of Collision, brothers Ali Morgan (guitar) and Hira Morgan (sax, percussion) and cousins Colin Henry (drums) and Charley Hikuroa (bass), came from Tokoroa. They initially got started in 1969 as heavy funk band Shriek Machine, but that incarnation split early in 1973.
